Capanna Update

The time is near!! We are just a few days out from opening and Mike is busy roasting and making gelato and training. We are beyond excited!! Things have definitely been crazy lately, with all of the last minute adjustments and "issues" that come up when trying to open a store. We had hoped to be open by the end of last week, but apparently God had a different plan because the countertops were not finished, and it's pretty hard to work without countertops. The store is looking so great, it's amazing how much things have changed. We might be biased but we think it is going to be one of the coolest places in downtown Iowa City!! This weekend Mike's parents and my parents, grandma, sister, and future brother-in-law were able to come have a little pre-taste of the gelato goodness to come. We got good reviews from everyone.
